“For my upcoming vacation, I am downloading free books on tape to take on the road with me, to keep me from falling asleep at the wheel,” she wrote. “I don’t want to borrow from the library just in case it gets lost on vacation.”

She also linked to some of her favorite online radio sites. We particularly liked Old Time Radio Fans, where you can download lots of shows like “Terry and the Pirates,” “Tales of the Texas Rangers” and “The Shadow.”
